This was my first summer assignment. This summer I took a vacation to Europe and I actually got to see the Coliseum in Rome. This painting was based off of a photo I took when I was in Rome. I like how this piece turned out. One downfall to this piece is its size. This painting is very small. I like the monochromatic theme that is portrayed in this painting. Overall I am proud of this piece.
becca this is beautiful. don't worry about size you can always do it bigger. it is very good and you should be proud of it.

ReplyDeleteI think that you did a really excellent job with the precision. It must have taken a lot of patience. Its also a really personal piece because you did this from a photo that you took... in EUROPE! I also like the matte blue tone in the background. It really adds an element of design to this painting.
